Recently I have tried using Google Forms to conduct a basic source-based assessment. I posted a Google Doc and a Form to Classroom. Kids had to read the Doc and complete the questions. I also inserted a video in the Form and then added questions on it.
Here is a sample of the Form:
The results then come to me as a big spreadsheet in Google Sheets. It was surprisingly easy to mark this as handwriting was not an issue. In the next post I will show how this turned out and how I got the results back to the kids.
